Born and raised in Charlotte, NC, Henry Thompson is an American Politics Major and Grand Strategy Minor at the United States Military Academy. He currently serves as a regimental operations officer, research assistant to the Irregular Warfare Initiative, and co-captain of Sandhurst Black and Gold, the Academy’s premier military skills team. His research explores the global shift to irregular warfare and the role of international institutions in defending the liberal world order in these domains. Henry plans to serve as an Infantry officer upon graduation and pursue a career in strategic policymaking once his time in the Army concludes.
